The understanding of birth is evolving on a daily basis.  The medical model, while necessary for high risk cases and surgical skill, actually gets in the way of natural birth. Today it has been proven by research that a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section) does not carry more risk than a repeat C section, and in many cases is safer and allows the mother to continue delivering naturally with multiple births.

Coming up on Wednesday, September 7 at 3pm, there is a rally at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, they are forbidding VBAC even though they have one of the expert doctors that specializes in delivering this way, Dr. Wu.
