Every year my family dives into the Jewish holiday season. In the beginning the kids were little, so I was busy mommying. This year they were all so excited to be involved, and especially these last days, to dance with the Torah. For many adults, as enjoyable as it was, there was a feeling of missing out on work and life. Not to mention my kids missing school, and since they are in elementary, I felt their connecting to roots was the priority.
What do you put focus on in your life?
What has the most importance?
With everything going on in the world, I am happy that our community and traditions are the priority over society. I feel grateful to live in a world where I can choose what is right for me and my family.
After all of the disconnecting, we are all ready for the routine and non stop of the world around us.
