Tashlich (תשליך) is a ritual that many Jews observe during Rosh HaShanah. Tashlich means “casting off” in Hebrew and involves symbolically casting off the sins

 

Today we met a PJ Library group leading a wonderful hike to the Hollywood Reservoir. They read a story to the kids explaining how we should think about things you want let go and we all dropped breadcrumbs in the water.

keeping the traditions of my ancestors alive in my children is my answer and light onto our overwhelming world.
