Before I found Yoga, I taught Body Pump, which is a low weight and high repetition workout. I got in the best shape of my life, lean and strong, and Yoga was a great counterbalance. I also saw clients one on one as a personal trainer, but I enjoy teaching group exercise classes the best. In classes, everybody has an energy exchange, gets motivation, a visual of a variety of ways of approaching an exercise, and it is all about having fun. Of course we all want results, but it is not results focused, it is lifestyle focused.
Yoga and Pilates have been my favorite to teach, but I am jumping back on the low weight and high intensity bandwagon. So many people have asked, I heard this interview today, and tonight in my Yoga class, a new class was born, FIT with HIT!
