Before I jump on social media, I want to write from my quiet brain. I have no idea what has happened in the world for the last three days, and I am OK with that. Usually it is only one 24 hour period that I turn the world off for Shabbat. This weekend it went right into a two day holiday, Shavuot, where we spend time with family and community as we celebrate receiving the ten commandments.
On one hand it is magic, and on the other hand it is about being completely present, especially with kids. They cannot wait to go to school, and of course go online once they are done with their homework.
Same here, I love the peace and quiet, but I also love the reality of the non stop crazy world that we live in.
Balance is the key,
How do you recharge?
