Have you heard this phrase by Jim Rohn?
“Either you run the day or the day runs you.”
Today I was supposed to have all to my self, only one Yoga class to teach in the evening. I was so excited to go take my teacher’s Yoga class, and then meet with a good friend who is creating beautiful music, https://www.facebook.com/MRVAMPLAND/. He is the first person I met in Los Angeles, the second day I moved here in an acting class. It has been almost 20 years of friendship and creative expression, we have done many projects together. Collaborating on photography, music, acting, theatre, costumes and just being the life of the party.
Today we were supposed to marry his music with my lyrics and create magic.
Today my energy was needed somewhere else.
I had to make a decision.
Nothing is by accident.
In Jewish thinking, we can plan, strategize, focus on goals and results, but ultimately being in the flow of how things are meant to be is the secret. You cannot fight it, get upset about it, or think that everything is ruined.
I know it will happen at the right time, and it will be magic.
That is how life works.
That is how birth works.
There is always a lesson, a positive view, and even a reason that will eventually be clear.
In the beginning of this week, I was so excited to hear songs from my youth on the radio, first Tainted Love, and then Modern Love. The moment was magic, and I was dancing in my car, and all was good in the world.
Thank God!
