There are facts, there is truth, and then there is filtering through everyone’s perspectives, opinions, and explanations.

I personally love to see the positive and the lesson in every situation. It is not being unrealistic, or too happy, because I am also a realist. Below is an amazing scientific explanation of how we can retrain our brain to operate in this manner.

Shayna Eller-Via: Thank you for saying that. Being positive did not always come naturally to me. I used to be a very negative person. I tried everything I knew to break that pattern and failed. Then I heard a talk by a Rabbi who said that the laws of inertia apply to human character as well. That it requires less energy to change the direction of an object already in motion, than to stop a moving object, move it, and start it in a different direction. So I trained myself to notice one positive every time I saw a negative, then two positives for every negative, then three, etc. until I changed directions. So thank you for noticing because sometimes our efforts go unnoticed by our own selves in the midst of life’s busyness. Light, love, and positivity to you.

We all have our passions and important truths we stand for.

I stand for Israel.

Have you ever heard anyone say “I hate Ireland”?

Me neither. I haven’t heard that about many countries. Not even Syria, a country run by a dictator who uses chemical weapons on his own people.

It’s simply not politically correct!Unless you’re talking about Israel, in which case it’s the reverse. It’s saying”I love Israel” that’s politically incorrect.

“I hate Israel” is the modern Western version of “I hate the Jews” although in some parts of the world, like the Arab world, they don’t bother making the distinction because they know it means the same thing.
