On Passover we cut out all grains, bread, oatmeal, and many other leavened products like cakes, cookies and cereal. I think it is an amazing detox from all things processed. I personally love fresh vegetables and fruits as well as fish, chicken, and meat.
One thing that we do have to crunch on is Matza, which symbolizes what the Jewish people took with them in a rush, since the dough did not have time to rise.
So far my kids are happy.
Passover day #5.
We are definitely counting down.
Enjoying celebrating our freedom as the nation of Israel.
The kids are looking forward to eating bread and other treats, especially pizza!
