On this day in 1968, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood aired nationally for the first time on PBS. Fred’s gentle message of kindness and empathy is still as relevant today as it was 50 years ago. Thank you, Mister Rogers, for believing that all children deserve quality educational programming!
There are so many beautiful reminders in our world today of everyday magic. Sometimes it is a special soul spreading light and love in the world like Mr. Roger’s above.
Other times we are in awe of how science keeps discovering how to understand the world. Do you notice how there are always more questions, and something thought of as true and absolute becomes obsolete?
I had a wonderful Purim with my community, now on to a peaceful and delicious Shabbat with family and friends.
