The heroes below gave their live to protect the children in their care against the shooter in Florida. The mind is numb, it is shocking and horrifying, and I want to share some posts that make you think how we move forward to prevent this in the future.
Forget gun control. Why not outlaw #AR15
Las Vegas: AR-15
Sandy Hook: AR-15
Umpqua CC: AR-15
San Bernardino: AR-15
Sutherland Springs: AR-15
Parkland, Florida: AR-15
See a pattern?
Scott Beigel, 35, took a bullet letting students take shelter in his classroom. Kelsey Friend said her social science teacher, Scott Beigel, was killed by the shooter while trying to lock the classroom door. “I am alive today because of him… Thank you for bringing and having this amazing person in life and giving him the power to be stronger than I could have ever been.” #Hero#BDE
RIP. Aaron Feis, The fearless football coach and security guard jumped in front of terrified students to protect them from becoming casualties of the bloodbath inside their #Florida
school, witnesses said.
Coach #AaronFeis, himself a graduate of #MarjoryStoneman#DouglasHighSchool, sprang into action in #Parkland, Florida. When he heard the bullets he ran towards the line of fire and tried to take down the shooter by rushing him. Feis leaves behind a wife and a young daughter.
If someone wants to collect guns, that’s within their rights according to the 2nd amendment. But why does said collector need to possess ammunition for an automatic weapon in their home? If they choose to collect and want to shoot, they should have to go to a controlled space to do so. Instead of trying it out in a public arena. WTF? I don’t care where you live, someone opening fire on your child while they are at school should not even be a possibility. As a mother, there just is no excuse. You don’t have to agree with me. I know I’m right.
