The fires started yesterday, and they were far away from us. Today my kids were kept inside the school because of bad air quality, we could see the smoke clouds, and our nearest major highway was closed. In the picture above you see the Getty Museum in the heart of the fire.

Thank God everyone in LA is sharing information, listening for evacuations, and helping each other.

On a positive note, I have a new Doula client and a repeat client, second baby. The biggest news for Jews all over the world is that the United States has declared that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and it is moving the Embassy there.
