I love that my kids know Sukkot

The video above is so powerful because it is a woman that just keeps living, just keeps going, no matter what life throws at her. She talks about resilience, and how she has developed her own definition of being strong yet balanced. I completely relate, and although I cannot imagine everything she has been through; I understand the mindset to move forward with a smile and your dreams.

My children go to an amazing public school that has a large Jewish population and understand that during our holidays we will be absent. We had three days straight with no television, computer or phone. My kids were immersed in our culture and tradition visiting friends in their Sukkot, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukkot.

I feel so grateful that beyond money, career, and all the horrors happening in our world today, my children can turn it all off.  I am so blessed that I can turn it all off to recharge, go within, strengthen my inner self, and fully rest from the world.

Excited to jump back in,

Our holidays are only half way through,

Another three days straight off of the world coming up at the end of the week,

Thank God we live life on our terms,

Chag Sameach!
