I have a had a nice and lazy Shabbat, stayed home while my husband took the kids to synagogue. Once they got home, they played outside, and I just read some articles and reveled in the magic of a day of complete mind and body rest. We have the holiday of Shavuot coming up, which celebrates the Ten Commandments and the Torah presented to the Jewish nation on Mount Sinai. It is such a major event, and I am happy that now as an observant Jew, I celebrate this holiday with my children.
