I keep on learning something new, the prayer above is said as the Jewish month of Sivan comes in this evening.  A few days before Israel had celebrations of Yom Yerushalayim and the victory of the Six Day War.

Today I was talking to my mom, and she was asked by my cousins why she is so proud and into her Judaism.  She said in communist Russia when she was a young girl, it was illegal to be openly Jewish, and it was enticing to go against the rules.  Also the Six Day War gave the everyone hope and reason to keep fighting for their rights and their Judaism.

Next week is Shavuot, the Jewish holiday of the Ten Commandments and the Torah given by God to the Jewish nation.
