First of all I want to wish a Happy Birthday to my youngest boy, Matisyahu, my baby is 5! Tonight we are celebrating Shabbat with good friends, who are baking a cake for this special occasion, and I wanted to spread the joy of Judaism and our traditions. The video below is on a subway in Israel, and you see all walks of life. Whenever a Jewish person hears songs, eats traditional food, or visits Israel, we automatically feel connected to our roots.
It is hard to describe the feeling, because it spans across countries, races, and even ways of celebrating, being Jewish is in our DNA, it is who we are, and there is no way not to be Jewish.
We love hosting Shabbat at our home even with my friends that are not Jewish, to share our celebrations and traditions. I love to share about me and learn about you.
I am lexcited to go out tonight for a change,
Turning off the world,
Celebrating life,
I look forward to this day every week,
Shabbat Shalom,
Coach Yulia
