In the beginning of October we started with Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, then Yom Kippur, which you can get a feel about above and below.

Israeli airspace is now closed for Yom Kippur, which starts in three hours.

There is not a single plane in the skies over Israel

Just had the most wonderful Shabbat, and tomorrow night starts the final party with Sukkot, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukkot, and lasts for eight days.
