How would you describe yourself?

If I had to boil it down to one thing, I would describe myself as an energy.  Yes, there are many aspects to who we are, our genetics, background, nationality, race, upbringing, as well as our inner soul trying to shine through.

Social media in someways is a blessing, and in other ways it is a challenge.  As nice as it is to connect with each other, things can be misconstrued because there are only words, there are no facial expressions, no real time contact of energy exchange, just someone’s words and our own personal perception of those words.

I love diversity, I love learning from others, I want to communicate, listen, debate, and loud and proud state my point of view.  I had a wonderful roommate that was telling me about some drama, and I honestly had no room for that drama, and I told her that I don’t care and it’s not my problem.  At first she was shocked, but then she respected that I do not take things in, we have to guard ourselves and our energy, not take everything on.  It is all very personal, take a moment to put yourself in another person’s shoes.

Even in labor and birth, your inner energy plays a big role in how everything progresses.
