Since Friday night until now, I have been cut off from the world, in my own bubble with my husband, kids, and community celebrating a Jewish holiday. I am shocked about the worst attack since 911, everything about it is just wrong. I see many people mourning for the LGBT community, as well as calling it a hate crime, direct homophobia. Then I hear others talk about guns and terrorism, and in my opinion it is all three of these. I have been seeing articles and videos about things that are just wrong, nobody should be treated this way, especially in a place where they can express themselves, and truly be themselves, whether it is a nightclub or a place of worship.
The video and links below are wrong place, wrong time, and how authority, government, organizations, people, religions, races, masses, nations and even lone wolfs can hurt innocent people.
“Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in this world, but it has not solved one yet.” — Maya Angelou
Here is a specific case, you can listen at the bottom of the story in this link to the NPR segment, a young boy, arrested for no reason, held in solitary, awaiting trial, and when finally released after three years, committed suicide, http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/06/08/412842780/kalief-browder-jailed-for-years-at-rikers-island-without-trial-commits-suicide
