Stepping out of my comfort zone

Nutrition and Exercise, no matter how you do it, what you do, in what combination, what brand, method, it really all works, and I love to also say nothing works.  We all have to find what works for each individual, and as a bonus find something that we like to do. Personally for cardio I love hiking, dance, and if I have to the eliptical at the gym.  What I do not love is Hot Yoga, I feel that it is torture, but honestly to each their own, it is just not for me.  I think we go hard everywhere else in our lives, Yoga is the one place to really connect with what the body needs in a gentle, precise, and with a mind/body flow connection.  I am afraid of cross fit and how I see people going hard without paying attention to their form, I know people really get into it and love it, and more power to them, but it is just not for me.  I also am not a fan of spinning, non stop cycling with sweat just doesn’t appeal to me.

I was asked to be part of an event to support Israel and the IDF, and I have heard so much about Soul Cycle, I am going for it today, I will give you an update tomorrow.  I know people really get fit and in shape with all of the things I mentioned above, but my personality doesn’t like to overdo, I like balance, I like to do what I need but not more, and still get results.  Yoga is one of the few places in life where you can go nice and easy, and it actually benefits you more and gives a deeper stretch because you are relaxed and letting it in like a deep massage.

It is good to step out of your comfort zone,

Try new things,

Especially for a cause that you believe in,

Ready to get fit, lean, and strong!
