The Habbani Jews were a subsect of Yemenite Jewry who were notable for their ferocity. Many Arab nobles favored them as soldiers and guards because their famed toughness in battle. Historians have traced that the Sauds belonged to Anza tribe who were settled in Najd around 1450 AD. It is said that Sauds were originally Jews and shrewd Feudal Lords.
