One of my favorite quotes is “excess once in a while is moderation.” Most kids today get overloaded with everything electronic, so much so, that it is affecting how they are supposed to naturally develop.
Physical is of the utmost importance, but so is individual creativity, the most powerful quote in the following article is “They don’t learn to be original.”
My goal for my kids is to be independent yet respect everyone around them, learn from everything, find the positive in every experience, and trust their gut. Today is so exciting, it is my oldest son’s first piano recital. Before that there is a huge Jewish celebration for kids, come join me, check out the flyer below. I always try to find events where they can run around, get their energy out, and keep connecting to the inner child, and hope that these experiences will guide them through life.
