What happened in Paris last night is shocking in its magnitude, and a tragedy. As someone who grew up in Israel with a norm of suicide bombings on buses and terrorist attacks as a backdrop to daily life, I can only hope that instead of building a wall, we can find peace. Instead of cultivating xenophobia and Islamophobia, we can find inclusivity and love. It’s times like these where we need to be most courageous with our hearts and our minds. I stand with the people in Paris today, and every day, and hope with all my might that we won’t live to see another world war.
I am passing on powerful messages in response to the attack on France, and now I want to share a few articles that make good points.
